Here are some useful tips for keeping your Hulken in good shape for the long run:

• Make sure not to overload the bag: 66 lb (30 KG) max.
• Load the bag by distributing the weight evenly on all sides as much as possible.
• Always fold your Hulken as shown in the video here and store it when not in use. Folding it in any other way may damage it.
• Keep away from heaters, radiators.
• To preserve the quality and appearance of this product and prevent discoloring, keep it away from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when in storage.
• Your Hulken will naturally fold in one direction only. Always fold it with the pull handle on your right-hand side, so it folds correctly.
• When pulling a full Hulken up a step or curbside, stop as close as possible to the step, lift the bag with the front handle and slowly pull the bag up while making sure the bottom isn't scrapping the floor.

Keep your Hulken in good shape for the long term by folding it in between use. There's only one way to fold it as shown below. Make sure the front pull handle is to your right-hand side Folding your Hulken properly is crucial to maintain it's shape and ensure a long-lasting experience! Folding your Hulken in any other way may damage it.

Hulken can roll on dry grass. Watch video

Hulken rolls on ice or shallow snow. Note that due to the height of the wheels (1.7") Hulken is not intended for use under heavy snow conditions.

Hulken rolls on 4 or 5 (depending on bag size) small yet powerful Stainless Steel wheels. It is true that bigger wheels give you the option to pull a bag up the stairs by yourself but we took a different approach with the Hulken design. We avoided big clunky wheels that are messy and tend to break easily so you will have the option to fold the bag completely flat for easy storage at home. In addition, we added unbreakable handles to give more options for lifting when necessary.

Do not put any living creature inside the Hulken. That includes dogs, cats and of course, humans. The Hulken is not designed for carrying animals or people and it could not only damage the Hulken but also cause serious injury if misused for that purpose.

Yes. Hulken is certified non-toxic food grade under European Union standards.

No, Hulken is not made of insulated materials.

Yes. Hulken is water resistant which means that water should not have any affect on the quality of the bag. However, Hulken is not waterproof and is not meant to be filled with any kind of liquid.

We don't recommend using Hulken as a checked in luggage.

The medium size Hulken is great to help schlep things around the airport but you'd need to empty it and fold it to fit under the seat/overhead.

Hulken is made of polypropylene. The bottom board is extruded from recycled material.

The weight limit is 66 lb (30 kilos).

Yes. Hulken is built to last for a long time. Made of very strong industrial materials and Stainless Steel wheels, the bag can carry 66 lb (30 kilos) easily. Hulken was designed with rigorous industrial research and trials. Wear and tear may occur over time, especially if loading the Hulken frequently with heavy loads.

Yes. Hulken comes with a built in cover and a zipper.

Hulken has long, solid handles that make pulling it very easy. The side handles are 14" long and the front (pull) handle is 16" long. For example: the model holding the large Hulken in the photo below is 5'9 tall. See photo

• The transparent covering on the handles should not be removed.
• Keep away from heaters and radiators.
• To preserve the quality and appearance of this product, please keep it away from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when in storage.
• Be careful of sharp edges that may be present inside the bag due to the nature of the industrial materials used to make the bag.

You can wash your Hulken gently by hand, with warm water and a sponge. Do not put your Hulken in a washing machine.

Scrape off bits of debris and dirt with a butter knife or the tip of a screwdriver. A pair of tweezers can help you pull bits of hair and dirt from the caster's shaft. A bit of lubrication can help keep them rolling smooth. If the spray lubricant has a long small tube attached to the button spray, insert this tube closest to the metal shaft on which the wheel turns and spray a bit of lubricant there. Avoid spraying the face of the wheel that touches the floor, as doing so will spread lubricant onto your floor. Wipe excess lubricant with a clean lint-free cloth.

Wipe all surfaces, handles and wheels with a disinfecting wipe (such as Clorox) - this should not affect the bag's quality. Alternatively, the wheels can be sprayed with a disinfectant (such as Lysol).

Hulkens are manufactured in Hungary.

Yes. Our return policy lasts 30 days and you can easily process a return or exchange through our return portal. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.
